VISUALIZE SUBTITLES

Here you can specify the color for new line separator | (for 'normal' view and selected - when the cell has focus). You can also specify the maximum number of characters in one line
(you can choose from two methods of measuring the long line: either you can set the max number of characters in line regardless of each character's width
or you can use more sophisticated method, which takes into account that some characters are wider and some are narrower [e.g. i vs. m] - the width is computed with 'a' character, so if you want to know the maximum number of characters, write subtitle with lots of a's in one line and play it in your favorite divx player, count the number of characters visible and you've got the right number)
, otherwise the line is marked as too long (the lightblue background in the picture).
You can set the color of background for marking too long lines.

You can set color for marking too many lines in subtitles. The maximum number of lines in subtitles can be configured in Display subtitles page.
