PASTE LINES | |
![]() With this command you can paste text from clipboard into grid. But you must be careful where to paste the content of clipboard. If you have in clipboard text like this: {65980}{66030}What is it? {66685}{66765}I don't know. and you want to paste it into grid, you have to make the following - you have to select the cell with starting frame number from first line (the cell where you want to have the number 65980) and you have to know that the selected line + one more line (since there are two lines in clipboard) are to be replaced with text from clipboard. So if you want to paste 5 lines of subtitles from clipboard, make sure you have 5 lines empty in your grid, otherwise the content of the cells gets replaced with text from clipboard. You can paste just into some of the columns, but make sure you select the right cell when clicking Paste command. E.g. you have in clipboard text {65980} {66685} {66765} you can paste it in the Begin or End column according to your selected cell. NOTE: this command is not the same as standard windows paste command, since it pastes only the whole cells. Therefore do not assign it shortcut Ctrl+V since you'll loose the ability to paste text into selected position in line when in editing mode. |
